Dr. Ball is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Vanderbilt University. He completed his medical school in India, did Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University, and Hem/Onc fellowship at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. His clinical and research interests focus on improving the diagnosis and classification, understanding the role of genomics in pathophysiology and prognostication, and developing novel therapies for patients with myeloid hematologic malignancies, particularly myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia
