Elizabeth Berry, MD
Elizabeth Berry, MD is an assistant professor of dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University where she serves as the director of the OHSU Multidisciplinary Pigmented Lesion Clinic and co-director of the international melanoma genetics consortium, GenoMEL. She has been involved in melanoma research since 2008 in both the United States and Australia. Her work in late-stage disease convinced her that prevention and early detection remain the best way to defeat melanoma and propelled her into the field of dermatology. Dr. Berry's current research interests include photoprotection, implementation of primary care provider melanoma education, cost of melanoma care, germline cancer predisposition syndromes, treatment of cutaneous melanoma metastases, paraneoplastic syndromes associated with melanoma, and dermoscopy. In her free time, she enjoys running, exploring the world with her her toddler, and spending time with her husband and dog.
