Omar Alhalabi, MD
Dr. Alhalabi is a medical oncologist and faculty member at MD Anderson Cancer Center with a research focus on genomic and molecular drivers of bladder cancer. In particular, his group focuses on cell cycle alterations and the associated therapeutic vulnerabilities in the conventional and the neuroendocrine subtype of urothelial cancer. His research is funded by awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology among others. Dr. Alhalabi is the principal investigator on several clinical trials targeting early as well as advanced stage bladder cancer.
