Dr. Deepak Bhamidipati is a third year fellow in the Hematology and Oncology training program at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Bhamidipati was born and raised near Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science. He returned to the Philadelphia area to obtain his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University before completing his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his training, Dr. Bhamidipati has developed a clinical and research interest in gastrointestinal malignancies and molecularly targeted therapies with a focus on colorectal cancer.
