Dr. Sid Devarakonda trained and worked on faculty at the Washington University in St. Louis before joining Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle as the Director of thoracic medical oncology. His research is focused on understanding cancers utilizing sequencing technologies. He is particularly interested in understanding the molecular underpinnings of never-smoker lung cancer and mechanisms of treatment resistance in thoracic malignancies.
