Safae Chouraichi, PharmD, BCOP, earned a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Shenandoah University in 2009 and has been a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist since 2017. Following graduation, she joined the pharmacy team at Georgetown University Hospital as an oncology research pharmacist, where she was part of a multidisciplinary team taking care of cancer patients receiving investigational therapies. In 2016, she joined Inova Schar Cancer Institute as a research pharmacist and was instrumental in the growth and development of oncology research pharmacy services. In her current role as the pharmacy manager of the investigational drug service, she provides guidance on oncology clinical trials feasibility, designs drug treatment plans, develops policies and procedures, and provides recommendations for therapy and supportive care. Dr. Chouraichi was appointed as the Vice Chair of the Institutional Review Board from 2019-2020 and currently serves as an active member of the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee, the Institutional Review Board, and the Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee.
