Dr. Regine Nshimiyimana Maniraho is a former Pharmacist certified as a Nurse Practitioner with specialties in family, acute care, and oncology.

Her academic journey spanned the National University of Rwanda, Thomas Jefferson University, the University of Pennsylvania, and George Washington University. She practices as an oncology nurse practitioner at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Health and as an adjunct faculty at Thomas Jefferson University. She also serves as the country co-director for the Jefferson Consortium for African Partnerships.

She is married to her best friend Frederic, and together they have two sons, Deryck and Eryck.
