Andrew Sussman, PhD, MCRP
Andrew Sussman, PhD, MCRP, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Sussman received his PhD in Cultural Anthropology and Master’s in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. He serves as the Associate Director for Community Outreach and Engagement at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Sussman’s research focuses on addressing health and cancer care disparities among underserved populations in New Mexico. He is currently an MPI on an NCI-funded R01 (R01 CA268037) entitled, “#4Corners4Health: A Social Media Cancer Prevention Program for Rural Emerging Adults.” He has expertise in qualitative and mixed method research designs and teaches in the Master’s of Science and Clinical Research Program.
