Darya Kizub, MD
Dr. Darya Kizub is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Breast Medical Oncology at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her interests include improving breast cancer care and outcomes through novel clinical trials and improving equity and diversity in access to novel drugs. She is also passionate about improving cancer outcomes for breast and other cancers in low and middle-income countries, as well as in low-resource settings and for underserved/uninsured/under-insured patients in the United States. Her ongoing projects include: studying factors associated with cancer clinical trial availability and accrual; programs to improve breast cancer early detection in Cote d'Ivoire, and Uganda; improving cancer outcomes for geriatric patients with cancer in Zambia; and research and quality improvement capacity-building related to cancer care in Ukraine and Zambia.
