Dr. Keel’s translational research program aims to define the phenotypic spectrum and genetic

and molecular underpinnings of inherited bone marrow failure syndromes and inherited

predisposition to hematopoietic malignancy with the aim of informing optimal diagnosis and lifelong

care of patients with these disorders. Her clinical work centers on the care of adult patients

and their families with inherited and acquired bone marrow failure syndromes, including aplastic

anemia, and inherited hematologic malignancy risk syndromes.
