Rachel B. Salit, MD is an Associate Professor at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and at the University of Washington in the Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology in Seattle, WA where she is a stem cell transplant physician and researcher. One of her main clinical and research goals is to improve the post-transplant outcomes and quality of life of patients with myeloproliferative disease. To this end she has several open clinical and translational transplant trials for patients with myelofibrosis and sits on the NCCN Guidelines committee for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms.
