Vivian G. Oehler, MD, is an Associate Professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and in the Division of Hematology at the University of Washington.  Dr. Oehler sees patients at the Fred Hutch Hematology Clinic with chronic myeloid leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Her translational research explores mechanisms that contribute to disease progression and therapy resistance in these diseases.  Dr. Oehler also examines new therapies in the treatment of CML and AML through an active portfolio of clinical trials.  Dr Oehler has served as Principal Investigator on over 30 active and past research grants.  She is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the Southwest Oncology Group and serves on the NCCN Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Panel.
