Dr. Carrie H. Yuen is a board-certified internist and pediatrician. She completed her internal medicine and pediatric residency training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Then, a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology followed by an adult bone marrow transplant fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.  

Dr. Yuen joined University of Oklahoma Health Science Center/ Stephenson Cancer Center in 2012 as an assistant professor in bone marrow transplant and hematology, and was then promoted to be an associate professor. Dr. Yuen spent 10 years there as a clinician, educator and clinical/ translational researcher. Her special interest is in immunology/bone marrow transplant, cellular therapy, graft versus host disease, and multiple myeloma.  

Dr. Yuen has had many publications over the years including role of innate lymphoid cells in graft versus host disease, impact of NK cell recovery on minimal residual disease status after autologous stem cell transplant in multiple myeloma, Ruxolitinib in graft versus host disease etc. She is also a site primary investigator for many hematology and bone marrow transplant related clinical trials.
