Lisa Getzendaner PA-C, MHS

Lisa received her Masters in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University in 1992.  After a brief stint in cardiothoracic surgery, she joined the Fred Hutch APP team in 1993.  In 1995, Lisa started expanding the role of APPs in the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Intake office helping manage pre arrival patient care, assisting in treatment planning and donor searches and providing education for physicians, APPs, patients and patient families for the BMT service.  As the Immunotherapy Program started and expanded, Lisa has participated in a variety of aspects of the IMTX patient intake, arrival planning and education and the treatment planning process.  Lisa is now the lead of the Intake APP team at Fred Hutch and coordinates both immunotherapy and transplant patients for the Fred Hutch.
