Dr. Bishop graduated from McGill University School of Medicine in 2007. After completing general surgery internship and residency at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut she then completed Yale University's interdisciplinary breast surgical oncology fellowship in 2013. She then practiced breast surgery, general surgery, and wound care in Stamford, Connecticut for 3 years before moving to Albuquerque in 2016 to work for Presbyterian. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, a certified wound specialist with wound and hyperbaric oxygen therapy training, as well as a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
