Dr. Grace Choong is a native of Toronto, Canada and received a Master of Science in heavy metal toxicology at the University of Toronto (2011-2013). She obtained her medical degree (2013-2017) at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She subsequently completed her Internal Medicine residency (2017-2020) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where she stayed to for Hematology/Oncology fellowship and was a Chief Fellow in her final year (2020-2023). Dr. Choong has joined the Breast and Gynecologic Oncology groups at Mayo Clinic Rochester in July 2023. She has a particular interest in ER-positive breast and gynecologic malignancies with a focus on endocrine therapies and clinical outcomes for which she has published several papers and presented her work at national conferences. She plans to continue her research in this field to make impactful improvements in the outcomes and management of women’s cancers.
