Tsewang Tashi
Tsewang Tashi, MD received his medical degree from Chang Gung University, School of Medicine in Taiwan. During his hematology and oncology fellowship training, he worked on erythrocytosis and high-altitude genetic adaptations. His current clinical and research interest focuses on myeloid malignancies, primarily in myeloproliferative neoplasms and systemic mastocytosis, and leads multiple clinical trials in the field. He established and currently heads the Mastocytosis Center of Excellence at Huntsman Cancer Institute. He is also the lead hematologist at the George E. Whalen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
