Elise J. Simons, MD, specializes in the field of gynecologic oncology, providing comprehensive care, including surgery and chemotherapy, for women with gynecologic cancers.
Dr. Simons' clinical interests include hereditary gynecologic cancer syndromes, management of all gynecologic cancers (especially /fallopian tube/ovarian, uterine, cervical and vulvar cancers), and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including both laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Simons believes that fully informed patients are empowered to make healthcare decisions that are consistent with their values and wishes. She feels her role as a physician is to act as an advisor equipped with expertise in the ever-evolving field of gynecologic cancer treatments.
Dr. Simons received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. She earned her M.D. from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Gynecologic Oncology. In her free time, she loves to travel, ski and spend time with her kids and family on Whidbey Island.
