Kara Kelly
Kara Kelly, MD is the Waldemar J. Kaminski Endowed Chair of Pediatrics at Roswell Park Comprehensive Center and Professor of Pediatrics at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences where she is the chief of the pediatric hematology/oncology program. She specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents with hematological malignancies, especially Hodgkin lymphoma. Her research focuses on clinical trials and correlative studies for childhood and adolescent Hodgkin lymphoma. Dr. Kelly is the Past Chair of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Hodgkin lymphoma committee and has served as the national study chair for clinical trials of new treatment approaches for pediatric patients with advanced stage disease. She currently serves as the chair of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Pediatric Hodgkin lymphoma guidelines panel, and is a member of the Lymphoma Research Foundation Scientific Advisory Board and the COG Hodgkin Lymphoma Steering Committee.
