At University of Washington/Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Dr. Lei Deng is an assistant professor within the Thoracic, Head & Neck medical oncology group. He is interested in clinical and translational thoracic cancer research focusing on novel biomarkers and therapeutics, particularly KRAS-mutated lung cancer. He is also interested in optimizing systemic therapy for patients undergoing curative surgery and definitive radiotherapy. Dr. Deng is a committee member of IASLC's Career Development Committee in 2023 - 2025 term. He also serves as a member of editorial board at JCO Global Oncology.
