Claire Mulvey, MD
Dr. Claire Mulvey is a thoracic medical oncologist at the University of California, San Francisco who cares for patients with lung cancer. While she treats a wide variety of lung cancers, she specializes in lung neuroendocrine cancers, including typical and atypical carcinoid tumors, large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma and small cell lung cancer. Mulvey's research centers on developing new treatments for lung neuroendocrine neoplasms as well as on improving outcomes and quality of life for patients with these cancers. Mulvey earned her medical degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in oncology at UCSF.
