Sarah Lowry has worked in oncology nursing since 2005. She received her MSN from Vanderbilt in 2012 and DNP from OHSU in 2017.

She has worked within OHSU’s Community Hematology Oncology practice since 2013, initially as an oncology nurse practitioner; and as the palliative care provider for the west side clinics since 2017. In addition to clinical work, she works with the Symptom Science Program headed by Dr. Eric Roeland within the division of palliative care at OHSU.

She recently completed a term as the chair of ONCC's AOCNP test development committee and has been an invited speaker at both local and national nursing conferences. She had to opportunity to serve as an international representative for ASCO’s International Cancer Corp last year in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Most recently, she has joined the ELNEC team and travels both nationally and internationally teaching primary palliative care skills to nurses.
