Yan Ji, MD, PhD, MS
Yan Ji, MD, PhD is a medical oncologist/hematologist at HealthPartners Cancer Center of Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Ji completed Medical School at Medical College of Tongji University in China, Ph.D. at University of Wisconsin-Madison studying breast cancer and Post-doctoral study at Mayo Clinic-Rochester studying lung disease.
After finishing her three-year Internal Medicine residency training at Medstar Health Internal Medicine, Baltimore, she joined the Hematology/Oncology fellowship program at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ji's special interests include lung, breast, gastrointestinal cancers and melanoma. Her many years of cancer research in these areas have deepened her understanding of the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and prepared her to translate the research to practice. Dr. Ji is a co-Principal Investigator of Metro-Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium (MMCORC). She also serves as member of NCI Cancer Prevention Steering Committee, NRG Breast Cancer Committee and Alliance Respiratory Committee.
