Christine Parseghian, MD
Christine Parseghian, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Parseghian received her Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology from Harvard University, and her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles and her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Parseghian is a clinician scientist focusing on understanding the molecular determinants of response or resistance to anti-cancer therapies for colorectal cancer and she is the Principle Investigator of multiple clinical trials in this space. She is also studying new ways to utilize liquid biopsy, and specifically, analysis of circulating tumor DNA, in her trials to prognosticate response to targeted therapies such as anti-EGFR agents in RAS/RAF wildtype colorectal cancer.
