Dr. Ala Ebaid is an Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine (UNM SOM) and a Classical Hematologist at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan and subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at UNM.

Since joining the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center faculty in 2020, Dr. Ebaid has been instrumental in establishing a Clotting and Bleeding Disorder Clinic at the center. He currently serves as the Director of the Classical Hematology Program, focusing on advancing the understanding and treatment of hematological conditions. His clinical interests are particularly centered on myeloproliferative neoplasms, thrombosis with an emphasis on cancer-associated thrombosis, and bleeding disorders.

Dr. Ebaid is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Hematology.
