Dr.Syed Abbas Ali is a physician with the Johns Hopkins Multiple Myeloma Group, the  Myeloma CAR-T Lead, as well as Oncology Co-Lead with the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Center for Amyloidosis. He was previously a multiple myeloma and stem cell transplant hospitalist with the Myeloma Institute of Research and Therapy in Arkansas, and the Director of the Myeloma Outpatient Transplant and Infusion Services. He has been in the myeloma CAR T-cell therapy space since its inception, and was the first author on the first-in-humans CAR T-cell clinical study for multiple myeloma at the NCI. He continues his efforts in the immunotherapy, transplant and cell therapy space for multiple myeloma/plasma cell disorders at Johns Hopkins.
