Dr. Ira Surolia is a medical oncologist with an interest in lung cancer. Her laboratory currently works on lung cancer with metastatic disease to the brain. 

She completed her fellowship training in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland as well as a fellowship in Investigational Therepeutics from the same institution. She trained in internal medicine at the University of Toledo, Ohio. She holds a Master of Public Health (quantitative methods)  degree from Harvard School of Public Health.
