Dr. Othman Akhtar is an assistant professor in the division of hematology and oncology and specializes in the treatment of plasma cell disorders. Dr. Akhtar’s research is focused on developing strategies to optimize outcomes of older adults with myeloma, particularly those receiving transplantation and cellular therapies such as CAR-T therapy.
