Ranjan Pathak, MBBS, MHS, FACP
Dr. Ranjan Pathak is a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at the Enloe Health Regional Cancer Center in Chico, CA, where he has been contributing his expertise since 2022. Before joining Enloe, he served as an Assistant Professor at City of Hope's Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutic Research in Duarte, CA.
He earned his medical degree from Nepal Medical College in Kathmandu, Nepal, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at The Reading Health System in Reading, PA. Dr. Pathak completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine/Yale Cancer Center, alongside a Master of Health Sciences from Yale University, concentrating on clinical research.
Dr. Pathak holds certifications in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology from the American Board of Internal Medicine and medical licensure in California. His research is centered on developing and conducting clinical trials targeted at underserved populations, specifically focusing on treatments involving immune checkpoint inhibitors for lung cancer and melanoma patients.
Dr. Pathak has received numerous honors, including the IASLC 2021 World Conference on Lung Cancer Early Career Award and several Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO Merit Awards. He is currently supported by the Winn Career Development Award. Dr. Pathak is a prolific author with over 100 peer-reviewed publications.
