Sanjay Hinduja
Dr. Hinduja is triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. His areas of expertise include head and neck cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and breast cancer.
He attended Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical College. Then he returned to California for residency training in internal medicine at UCSF–Fresno, where he was selected as a Chief Resident. He also received his fellowship training in hematology and oncology at UCSF-Fresno, where he served as a Chief Fellow in his final year.
Dr. Hinduja is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF and is a member of multiple medical societies including: American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists, and Fresno Madera Medical Society.
His professional interests include cancer care disparities. He is involved in national nonprofit organizations that actively help bridge the gap in cancer care among communities lacking access to cancer treatments.
In his spare time, Dr. Hinduja enjoys cooking, trying different cuisines, running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Hinduja is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Sindhi and is conversational in Urdu and Spanish.
