Dr. Halwani is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah's Huntsman Cancer Institute and health services researcher at the George E Whalen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr Halwani's clinical practice focuses on treatment of cutaneous lymphoma. His research focuses on large scale retrieval and extraction of information from electronic data warehouses to better understand population level practices and outcomes as they relate to cancer patients, and to design, implement and evaluate health information tools that improve care quality and efficiency and facilitate novel care delivery models.
