Adam Bograd, M.D.; Thoracic Surgeon
Dr. Adam J. Bograd is an board-certified, thoracic surgeon currently practicing at the Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, WA. Dr. Bograd's clinical focus is on thoracic malignancies, with a particular interest in malignant pleural mesothelioma and locally-advanced lung cancer. He obtained his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He subsequently completed his general surgery residency at New York University Medical Center. Prior to completing general surgery residency, he completed a two year research fellowship focusing on targeted immunotherapy for thoracic malignancies within the Center for Cell Engineering and Thoracic Surgery Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, under the mentorship of Drs. Prasad Adusumilli and Michel Sadelain. Dr. Bograd then went on to complete his thoracic surgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
