Julie Nangia, MD
Dr. Julie Rani Nangia, Associate Professor of Medicine in the section of hematology-oncology, is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Dr. Nangia received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed an internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston as well as a hematology-oncology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Nangia is the Medical Director for breast oncology at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She is the Director of the Breast Cancer Prevention and High Risk Program at Baylor College of Medicine and has a special interest in hereditary breast cancer, breast cancer prevention and triple negative breast cancer. She is also international known for her research with scalp cooling for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced alopecia and has been the principal investigator of many other clinical trials.
