Senthil Sukumar, MD MS
Dr. Sukumar attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine where he obtained his combined B.A./M.D. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He subsequently completed Hematology fellowship at The Ohio State University, where he also obtained his Masters in Medical Science focused on Clinical Investigation.
Dr. Sukumar specializes in the care of adults with non-malignant hematologic disorders including thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome, immune thrombocytopenia, bleeding and clotting disorders, thrombosis, and anemias. His research focuses on optimizing long-term care and improving outcomes of patients with thrombotic microangiopathies.
