Chakri Gavva, MD
Chakri Gavva received his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical School, followed by a one year Internal Medicine preliminary year and a Clinical Pathology Residency at UTSW. He completed a Transfusion Medicine fellowship at Bloodworks Northwest / University of Washington before coming to Albuquerque in 2018. He has since been a member of Pathology Associates of Albuquerque where he is the Medical Director of the Presbyterian Infusion Center and Medical Director of Presbyterian Anticoagulation Services. His research and clinical interests include acquired coagulation factor deficiencies and novel uses of therapeutic apheresis. In his free time, he enjoys hiking the Sandia Mountains with his wife.
