Arand Pierce, MD
Arand Pierce is a New Mexico native. He attended St John's College in Santa Fe, then completed a post-bacc premed program at Columbia University. He completed medical school and a combined anatomic/clinical pathology residency at UNM and then a fellowship in blood banking/transfusion medicine at Puget Sound Blood Center/University of Washington. Prior experiences include vice president of Pathology Associates of Albuquerque, medical director of the Presbyterian Infusion Center, state-wide implementation of COVID infusion centers as a member of the NM Governor's COVID-19 Medical Advisory Team, CMO of TriCore Laboratories and President of the Rhodes Group (a healthcare technology company), board membership of Project Santa Fe, and committee membership in the American Board of Pathology. He currently provides services for the Presbyterian Infusion Center and Apheresis Services, the PHS transfusion service, Lovelace clinical pathology, the TriCore Special Coagulation lab, and is the medical director for several clinical laboratories, including PRESNow sites.
