Dr. Christina J. Wai is a surgical oncologist who obtained her medical degree from Georgetown University and completed a general surgery residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She went on to Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia and underwent a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology. She is double board-certified in General Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, an Associated Program Director of the University of Hawaii General Surgery Residency Program and is the Deputy Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Surgery.
