Jordyn Koehn, ABGC Certified Genetic Counselor

Jordyn Koehn, MS, CGC is a genetic counselor at The University of Kansas Cancer Center. Jordyn provides pre- and post-test genetic counseling to patients with a personal and/or family history of cancer. Jordyn counsels patients for a wide variety of hereditary cancer syndromes, but she is especially interested in gastrointestinal cancer genetics. More recently, Jordyn has participated in working groups to expand access to genetic counseling. She provides free genetic counseling and testing for individuals in the community that are under-insured or non-insured and has been working with The University of Kansas Cancer Center's physicians to identify where mainstreaming genetic testing can be beneficial.
Jordyn grew up in Kansas City and earned two bachelor degrees from the University of Kansas in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology alongside Psychology in 2018. She then went to complete her master's degree in Genetic Counseling at Case Western Reserve University in 2021, where she found her passion for cancer genetics.
