Dr. Lui is a Physician Scientist in the Department of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences (RMAS) at the University of California San Diego specializing in the treatment of patients with breast cancer. She also conducts basic science research exploring the role of Type I IFN signaling in driving the phenotype of several aggressive subtypes of breast cancer, including inflammatory, inflammatory, triple negative and endocrine-resistant disease. Her work focuses on utilizing preclinical models of breast cancer to identify new treatments and treatment combinations for aggressive breast cancer.
