Srinivas Tantravahi, MBBS; MRCP
Srinivas Tantravahi, MBBS, MRCP, is an Associate Professor within the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, affiliated with the University of Utah. Dr. Tantravahi's clinical practice centers on the management of myeloproliferative neoplasms, aplastic anemia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), and the intricate landscape of germline predisposition to hematologic malignancies.
Education: Dr. Tantravahi earned his medical degree from the Guntur Medical College in India. He received further postgraduate medical training in Internal Medicine under the South Yorkshire deanery, United Kingdom. He completed Internal Medicine residency and Hematology and Oncology fellowship training at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Presently, he holds the position of Associate Professor within the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at Huntsman Cancer Hospital, University of Utah.
Research Interests: Dr. Tantravahi participates in clinical trials exploring novel therapeutic approaches for myeloproliferative neoplasms and various myeloid leukemias. His research interests are centered in unraveling the genetic underpinnings of telomere biology disorders and various germline predisposition to bone marrow failure and myeloid leukemias.
