Dr. Janice Kim is originally from the Midwest where she went to medical school and completed her Radiation Oncology residency training. She joined the faculty at University of Washington soon after graduating from residency in 2006 and is board certified.  She is an associate professor and is the University of Washington Department of Radiation Oncology program disease site lead for breast cancer. 

She is a PI of multiple breast cancer related studies, is involved in many multi-disciplinary clinical research projects and mentoring fellows, residents, medical students and high school students.
