Siddhartha Yadav, Siddhartha Yadav, MD, FACP
Dr. Siddhartha Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Oncology and a Senior Associate Consultant in Women’s Cancer Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He earned his medical degree from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, USA. After residency, he worked at Nancy and James Grosfeld Cancer Genetics Clinic in Michigan before moving to Mayo Clinic to complete his Medical Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Yadav specializes in management of breast and gynecologic malignancies. His research is primarily focused on identifying genes and variants involved in susceptibility to breast and ovarian cancer using genetic epidemiology and functional studies. In addition, he also focuses on characterizing the molecular biology and clinical outcomes of tumors in carriers of germline mutations in DNA-repair genes. Dr. Yadav has received numerous awards for his work including the Paul Calabresi Career Development Award (K-12), Developmental Research Program (DRP) Award in Breast and Ovarian Cancer, Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Award and William H. J. Summerskill Award from Mayo Clinic, Young Investigator Award and Merit Award from American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) , Associate Award from American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), Outstanding Fellow Award from Minnesota Society of clinical Oncology (MSCO) and Clegg Scholarship from British Medical Journal (BMJ). Dr. Yadav has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles in the field of genetic predisposition to cancer.
