I am a registered nurse and Oncology Certified Nurse as well as certified nurse navigator (ONN-CG) with special interest in genetics/genomics since 2012.  I completed City of Hope Intensive Course in Genetics in 2020 and was certified for Cancer Genetics Risk Assessment (CGRA) through National Consortium of Breast Cancer.  I have been the nurse navigator for St. Anne Cancer Center in Burien, Washington since 2013 and developed a process for genetic testing to identify eligible patients at the time of their initial visit.  Through this process we test approximately 100 patients each year and identify approximately 10 mutations per year, on average.  My interest in genetics has expanded into genomics and I am involved in most, if not all, genomic test and their results, in collaboration with the oncologists at our practice.
