"Eat, drink, save lives" was the motto that drew me into Critical Care nursing decades ago. But when my Critical Care career had run its course, I fell into Lung Cancer Screening where I found a passion for another way to save lives, through preventive care. After 5 years of building up the Lung Cancer Screening Program at Virginia Mason Medical Center, I now work as the Clinical Program Manager, combining both patient navigation and program development.

I travel often, but when at home in the Northwest, I enjoy exploring my new hobby of sea kayaking with my husband, and combining that with my love of bird-watching, particularly of the region's migratory waterfowl.
