Dr. Lia Halasz is an associate professor in the Departments of Radiation Oncology and Neurological Surgery at the University of Washington, and co-medical director of the UW Alvord Brain Tumor Center. She specializes in the care of patients with brain and spinal cord tumors. Dr. Halasz has a strong interest in education and mentoring, serving as the program director for the UW Radiation Oncology residency. Her research centers on advanced radiation technologies and the health disparities surrounding their use. She currently serves as co-principal investigator for the INROADS (Increasing Native Radiation Oncology Access: Disparities and Solutions) project.
