Lorraine Drapek is a nurse practitioner at Massachusetts General Hospital in Radiation Oncology.  She specializes in GI cancers and sexual health. She has a passion for global health inequity. She has been a member of the BOTSOGO committee, since 2016, which consists of a collaborative relationship with the country of Botswana.   In 2017, she established a post cancer treatment vaginal/sexual health program for women who had undergone pelvic radiation. This involved introducing vaginal dilators as part of routine care for patients with cervical cancer, in the country of Botswana.   This program has remained in place through the pandemic, through the commitment of the nursing staff, physicians, and the BOTSOGO committee.
