Dr. Moten obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University and a Doctorate in Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed General Surgery residency at Temple University Hospital during which time she also obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research and Translational Medicine from the Temple University College of Public Health. She is currently a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellow at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She is interested in outcomes and disparities research as it relates to receipt of equitable cancer care.
