Dr. Catherine Quinn is a triple board certified hematologist oncologist in San Diego. She hails from Wisconsin originally, and completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to obtain her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and then completed an intern year and residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Mercy Hospital. Finally, she completed fellowship training at UCSF-Fresno in hematology and oncology. Dr. Quinn joined the Medical Oncology Associates of San Diego in August 2022 and has enjoyed a diverse array of both malignant hematologic cases, solid tumors, and non-malignant hematologic conditions during her first year in San Diego. She continues to participate in clinical research through MOASD and the Sharp community. Her areas of clinical interest include breast and gynecologic solid tumors, as well as all areas of malignant hematology. When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Quinn enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, as well as staying active, traveling, and writing poetry.
