Kartik Sehgal, MD
Dr. Kartik Sehgal is a medical oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and faculty at Harvard Medical School. He received his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2010, and subsequently finished his clinical training in internal medicine from Yale-New Haven Hospital, and medical oncology from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During his postdoctoral research years, he trained in the laboratories of Madhav Dhodapkar and David Barbie, with a focus in immuno-oncology.
He joined DFCI in 2020 as a faculty in the Division of Head and Neck Oncology and Center for Cancer Therapeutic Innovation. He is currently the Director of Thyroid Cancer Center there. His research is focused on early drug development clinical trials for patients with head & neck and thyroid cancers, with focus on development of biomarkers of response and resistance.
