Dr. Rubina Suwal is a Consultant, Head and Neck Oncosurgeon. She has a background in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with specialised training and expertise in oral oncology and head & neck oncology. Dr. Suwal completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 2012 and Master of Dental Surgery from Jiamusi University, China in 2017. She completed the AOMSI (Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India) Fellowship in Oral Oncology in 2021 and Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology from the Shankus Medicity, Gujarat, India in 2022. Dr. Suwal has also done the AOCMF fellowship in Department of Head & Neck Surgical Oncology at Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center, Bangalore, India and AOCMF Fellowship in Maxillofacial/Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgery Department in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham, UK. Dr. Suwal is a certified tobacco cessation specialist from Gujarat University and working for prevention and early treatment of oral cancer. She has further enhanced skills by completing various professional training programs/workshops/seminars. Dr. Suwal has published a number of publications and is active in presenting and participating in various conferences related to my field of expertise. I have been affiliated with various academic institutions of Nepal. She works as a Consultant, Head and Neck Oncosurgeon at Binaytara Foundation Cancer Center.
